The local agent of the NeAV Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company has received the following telegram from the Loudon office, under date 17th instant: —
AVool.—Market unchanged. Up to date 348,000 bales have arrived. AVheat. —Market firm. Adelaide is Avorth 17s, and New Zealand 43s Od per 1901 bs, C.I.F. market linn. Ncav Zealand f .a.q. is worth CLE. off coast lis per ISOlbs. The weather is unfavorable for the crops here. Tallow. —Dull of sale. Mutton 42s Gd, and beef 10s od per cwt. The supplies of town melted aro heavy. Leather.—Market firm. Best sidos 11{. N.Z. Hemp.—Market quiet. Fine is Worth £30 per ton.

New Zealand securities remain at the following quotations:—Five per cent 10-40 loan, 100 ; five per cent 1889 loan, 106 k ; four and a half per cent 1879-1904 loan, 101 ; four por cent inscribed stock, 101, cxdividend.
