July. 18—Taiaroa, s.s., for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland. Passengers—Mr and Mrs McLea, Revd. Mr Cox, Messrs Joseph AVhite, J. K. Goudy, and McPhall. 9 The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Taiaroa steamed for Gisborne, Taurauga, and Auckland at 5 o'clock last evening. She is telegraphed as having arrived at tho former place at 6 a.m. this day. Tho AVairoa steamers Manaia and Maori, which left here early yesterday morning, are telegraphed as having got into the river sit that placo at 2 p.m. yesterday. Tho steamer Kiwi, Capt. James Campbell, left AVellington for the coast and Napier at 10.30 last night, and is expected to put in nn appearance here by to-morroAV. Sho will discharge her cargo at the breastwork during the day, and at 5 p.m. is announced to steam for AVellington. Tho Union Company's steamer Southern Cross, Capt. Alhnan, arrived here from Gisborne and Auckland at daylight this morning, and was berthed inside at the breastwork shortly aftewards, Avhere she discharged her cargo, some 30 tons, during the day. Sho is to steam for "Wellington at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow. The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, is telegraphed as having left AVairoa at an early hour this morning, and Avill arrive in port during tho early part of this afternoon. The Union Company's steamer Te Anau, Capt. Carey, Avas to have left Auckland at midday to-day isdue at Gisborne to-morrow, and at Napier on Saturday morning, sailing for Southern ports and Melbourne at 2 p.m. same day.
