[by cable.] London, July 16. Consols aro quoted at 99f, a decline of one-quarter.
New Zealand soourities. —Tho five per cent. 10-40 loan has fallen 10/-, and is now at 10G ; tho fivo per cent. ISBD loan has advanced to 10i>| ; the four and a half per cent. 1879-1904 loan has declined by 20/----to 101, and the four per cent inscribed stook remains at 101, ex-dividend.
Themarkot rato of discount has advanced to 37/8, and is now one eighth below the bank rate.
There are no changes to report in colonial breadstuffs or tallow. Tho markets in both cases continue dull.
