CHARGE OF EMBEZZLEMENT PROVED.
Dunedin, This day. Tho case of George W. Mintcr, charged with embezzlement from the New Zoaland Insurance Company, who was tried twice previously, the jury being unable to agree on both occasions, was re-heard in the Supremo Court yesterday, and prisoner was found guilty and sentenced to two years' imprisonment. In empanelling the jury the Crown challenged five and the prisoner seven jurors.
