This day.
In the Legislative Assembly last night Sir Thomas Mcllwraith, the Premier, announced that the Ministry had recommended the Acting-Governor to dissolve Parliament, and His Excellency had granted a dissolution. The Premier stated that the Government desired to pass an additional Members' Bill and an Appropriation Bill for £500,000 before the dissolution. A discussion took place on the Premier's announcement, but the debate was adjourned.
