DWELLING-HOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE.

Masterton, This day,

A nine-roomed dwelling-house at Te Ore Ore station was burnt down at 2 o'clock this morning. The fire originated in Mr L. Thomson's bod-room, and in half-an-hour the walls fell in. Nothing was saved. The insurance on the house and furniture was .£6/30 in tho North British office, which fairly covers the loss, except valuable private' papers and effects of the proprietor. Mr Thomson had to bolt out ot the burning house without dressing.
