Tho local agent of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (limited) has received the folloAving telegram from the London offico of the company under date the 19th instant :— Wool. —Tho sales progress firmly. Up to date 273,000 bales havo been sold, of which 150,000 have been taken for export. The next sales will commence on tho 21st August. Wheat.—Market dull. Adelaido is worth 48a 6d, and New Zealand 44s per 4961b5. Tallow.—Market quiet. Mutton 43s Gd, and beef 42s per cwt. Leather.— Market firmer. Best sides, lid per lb. New Zealand Hemp. — Market quiet. Fine is Avorth £28 per ton.

Adelaide wheat, ex-store, 475; New Zealand ditto, 43s to 40s; Adelaide flour, ox-warehouse, 335. Australian tallow, best beef 41s, and best mutton 42s 6d.
