June. 22—Manaia, p s., for Wairoa. Passengers —Misses Mayo and Fuszard, Messrs G. H. Swan, A. Breuer, J. McMurray, McKain, Jonson, G. B. Flint, Lascelles (2), and eight natiA'es.
The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross, Captain Allman, arrived in tho roadstead from Gisborne and Auckland at 6 am. this day, and Avas moored inside alongside the breastwork by 6 o'clock. Sho discharged hor cargo during tho morning, and at 2 o'clock this afternoon was to havo taken her departure for Wellington. The steamer Fairy, Captain Campbell, returned from Waikare at 3.30 p.m. yesterday, bringing some passengers and wool. The launch Bella, Captain Green, got back from Waimarama last night, ha\dng landed her cargo. For the convenience of passengers the p.s. Manaia's departure for Wairoa was delayed until 11 o'clock this morning, when she got away, taking a good cargo. Tho Union Company's s.s. Tarawera, Capt. Sinclair, is due here at daylight tomorrow morning from Gisborne and Auckland, and is announced to steam for Southern ports and Melbourne at 2 o'clock the Bame day. Tho steamer Maori is telegraphed as having left Wairoa at 7.30 a.m. this day, and should arrive during the early part of tho afternoon. The brigantino Enterprise has finished discharging her cargo of timber, and is now on the berth for Wellington. The steamer Kiwi, from Wellington and tho coast, has not yet arrived, but will probably do so to-night. She Avill discharge her inward cargo at the breastwork tomorrow morning, and in the afternoon will take in a full load of wool and tallow, getting aAvay again for Wellington at about 7 p.m tho same day. Tho Union Company's s.s. Manapouri, Capt. Logan, is to leave Wellington this afternoon for Northern ports and Sydney, and should arrive here about midday tomorrow, and will be sailing again at 4 p.m.

Tho steamship Orient arrived at Plymouth to-day from Melbourne (left May 9), with a cargo of frozen provisions, consisting of 3200 carensses of mutton and 900 cases of apples, which are reported as being in good condition. June 21. Tho Merchant Shipping and Underwriter's Association report the arrival of tho ships Ganymede from Timaru (left 21 st February), G. P. Habit;, from Lyttelton (left 16th March), Delhara Tower from Lyttelton (left 9th March), aud Parcora from Lyttelton (left 16th March).
