ENQUIRY INTO DUNEDIN GOODS SHED FIRE.

Dunedin, This day.

The enquiry into tho goods shed lire was continued yesterday. Nothing has as yet been elicited to suggest the cause of the outbreak. The engine which shunted trucks into the shed on the day of the fire only went just inside the north door, so that the fire could scarcely have been caused by it, as the flames broke out at the south end. The engine-driver thought it unlikely that sparks were emitted from the funnel, as they were only emitted when the engine was under extra pressure. No direct evidence was obtained about smoking, which was forbidden. Tho enquiry is being continued.
