[by cable.] London, Juno 11. Consols hare advanced to 100 J. The bank rate remains at -1, and the market rate at 3£ per cent. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England is £11,900,000, an increase of £1,000,008 during the week. The proportion of reserve to liabilities is 40 per cent. There are no changes to report in New Zealand securities or colonial produce. Hides are dull and slow of sale, with a downward tendency. Melbourne, Friday. A private telegram from Foochow, under date June 11, reports of the local tea market aa follows:—The season opened to-day. Prices for common and medium qualities are two taels below last year. The quality of the crop is considered about the same as last season. Buyers arc cautious, and the market is quiet, with but littlo doing. There is a general belief that the export will be short. The steamships Killarnoy for Melbourne, and the Catterthun for Sydney, sail on July o. Exchange is at 3/B.J. Sydney, Friday. New Zealand wheat has fallen to 4/4, and New Zealand oats to 2/2 ; maize has advanced to 2/11 ; sugar, Company's No. 1 pieces, £35. Adelaide, Friday. Wheat is unchanged at o/- to 5/1, with market inactive ; town flour per ton £11 10/-to £11 15s, and country brands £10 10/- to £10 15/-, with market dull.
