INQUEST ON A FIRE.
Wellington, This day,
A coroner's inquiry, held at tho instance of the police, took place at Waihcnga yesterday into the circumstances connected with the destruction of the Waihenga Hotel two months ago. The jury found that there was no evidence to show how tho fire originated; they considered that the chimneys were defective in construction, and further they believed they were foal through not having been swept.
