SPECIAL MEETING.
A special meeting was first held to confirm the resolution passed at a previous meeting adopting the new rates of wharfage charges. On the motion of Mr Vautier an alteration was made in the schedule by adding after the word " timber " tho following:— " Import only ; coal, 2s Gd per ton, import only." The schedule as amended was adopted, and the resolution adopting the by-law was confirmed.
