New Plymouth, This day. Mr Leadom, whilst work'ng at his brewciy at Waitara, fel 1 . into a vat of boiling Fquid, and was f eail'rlly scalded about the shoulders. Auckland, This day. A man named J. Penny was killed yesterday at a breaking-down saw at Roe's sawmill, Onehunga. He leaves a w.'fe and five children. Cornelius Beglcy, a single man, who was crushed by a fall of eaith. at the Pamell tl/aiuage works, died at the hospital shoitly after admission.
