INTERCOLONIAL BOAT RACE.
(By Cable.) Sydney, Saturday
The Intercolonial (Victorian v. New South Wales) eight-oar race took place today over the usual course on the Parramatta river, and resulted in an easy victory for the Victorian crew by six lengths. The winners led from start to finish, and rowed in excellent form. Time, lOmins. Pisces. The weather was splendidly fine, and the water quite smooth. The contest was witnessed by crowds of people along the banks and on steamers following the boats.
