Christcuurch, This day. At Tai Tapu yesterday a man named Richard Borven, Avhile driving a steam engine rvhich Avas Avorking a threshing machine, rvas caught in the fly Avhecl of the engine. His left arm Avas torn off, and his right arm so much injured that amputation Avill be necessary. But in spite of all he is doing fairly well, and there is some slight probability of saving his life.
