FIRES IN CANTERBURY.
Christchurch, This day. Earl >' this morning Mr F. Keiming's boarding-house in High-street, immediately adjoining the site of the fire by Avhich Mr AY. S. King's furniture Avarohouse and other buildings Avero destroyed, Avas burnt down. The insurance amounts to about £100. A four-roomed house at Halswell belonging to Mr Sabey, and occupied by a German named Darvey and tAvo children, avus burned doAvn at midnight on Friday. Nothing Avas saved. Incendiarism is suspected.
