Nominations of candidates for Road Boards must bo made by noon to-morrow as follows: Heretaunga district, at (he Town Hall, Hastings; Maraekakaho district, at the Public School, Petane: Meeane district, at the Public School, Mcauec : Havelock district, at the Mechanics' Institute, I-lavelock; and Patca district, at Mr. Birch's Avoolshcd. Patea. Accounts overdue to Mr Woods, chemist, if not settled before to-morrow, will be sued for. Every member of the Napier Gymnasium is requested to attend a general meeting in the Protestant Hall to-morrow evening. At the Horse Bazaar on Saturday, iv addition to the usual catalogue of stock, harness, produce, &c, Mr Monteith Avill offer, on account of Mrs Storkey, two horses, three drays, and two sets harness. Mr Baker, Chief Surveyor, invites tenders for clearing 140 chains of road through the bush in block XIV., Tahoraite survey district. A shooting license has been taken out by Mr W. O. Taylor. Any person found trespassing on the Long'hiuds estate Avill be prosecuted. Mr Monteith has received instructions from Mr White, market gardener, R-ed-elyffe, to soil on the premises, Avithout reserve, on Wednesday next, tho Avhole of his stock, plant, and effects. j The finder of part of a buggy lamp, which is lost, Avill be rewarded on returning same to Mr John Anderson, Motco. Mr C. W. Mackenzie publishes his card as commission, shipping, aud Custom House agent. Two gentlemen can be accommodated Avith board and residence by Mrs Brenton, Carlyle street.
