ARRIVAL OF THE GOVERNOR AT AUCKLAND.
Auckland, This day. The Hiaonjoa, with the GoveHWi: and
•nite, arrived at Onelmnga last evening. The Premier Avent out from Auckland in a special train to receive his Excellency. The vice-regal party remained on board all night, and "came on to Auckland this forenfon by special train, arriving at 11 o'clock. The A'ice-regal party Avere met at the station by tho Mayor and city authorities, and the volunteers :ind artillery fired a salute. The Mayor presented a congratulatory address, to Avhich the GoA-ernor responded, returning thanks for the cordiality and loyalty displayed. His Excellency then drove to Government House, the streets along the route being lined by an enthusiastic throng. The display of bunting avus most complete.
