SAD BOATING ACCIDENT.—TWO YOUNG MEN DROWNED.
Auckland, This day. Two clerks in the employ of the Union Steamship Company's office at Russell ivere droAvncd there on Saturday evening through the capsizing of a boat Avhile out for a pleasure saii. The names arc G. Bayley and G. S. Sankins. The latter Avas only 18 years of age, and his life Avas insured in the Government office for £500. A seaman named Anderson, avlio was also in the boat, Avas rescued in an exhausted condition.
