THE ARMAMENT OF MERCHANTMEN BY BRITISH ADAIIRALTY.

BRITISH TROOPS RETURNING AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF CETEAVAYO. LONDON. February 3. The four men Avho have been arrested on charges of complicity in the murder of Lord Frederick Cavendish and Air Burke AA'ere brought up at the Dublin Police Court and indentificd as having been seen in the .Phoenix Park at the time the crime was committed. One prisoner named Carey is the occupier of the house in AA'hich the knives AA'hich it is believed were used to cuminit the crime were discovered by the police. The prisoners Avere remanded until next Monday, the sth inst. The Admiralty are dispatching to Bombay, Hong Kong, CapctoAvn, and Sydney a large number of guns suitable for the armament of merchantmen, Avith avieAv to supplement the regular naval squadrons in case of Avar.
