The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Manapouri, Capt. Logan, arrived here at an early hoxu- this morning from Northern ports and Sydney, and was lightered of her cargo, some 80 tons, by the ketch Three Brothers. The Boojum tendered as usual for mails and passengers, taking the outwards off at noon, the Manapouri resuming her passage for Southern ports and Melbourne about 1 p.m. We were not favored by her purser with a report of this vessel's passage. The steamer Go-Ahead, Captain Doilc, arrived in the roadstead during the night from Wellington and the coast, and was berthed inside this morning at the cattle wharf, where she discharged her inward cargo, consisting principally of transhipments out of the Pareora, now unloading in Wellington. The Go-Ahead will take in a number of sheep this afternoon for Castle Point, and at 4 o'clock will take her departure!-. The p.s. Manaia, Captain Bothnm, steamed for Wairoa at 12 o'clock 1 ist night, with several passengers and a good cargo. The steamer Maori is to leave for Porangahau at G o'clock to-night. The Union Company's s.s. Te Anau, which left Wellington for Northern ports at 8 o'clock last night, was expected to arrive in the roadstead at about 2 o'clock this afternoon. Besides 40 tons of cargo for this port the Te Anau is bringing about 200 valuable sheep, which will be landed by the lighters Admiral and Sir Donald respectively. The outward passengers and mails by this boat are advertised to leave the wharf at 4 o'clock this afternoon.

The steamer Kiwi left Wellington at 8 o'clock last night, and will arrive here on Monday morning. The New Zealand Shipping Company's barque Wandering Chief, Capt. Browne, '147 tons register, was towed inside from the roadstead at 11 o'clock this morning by the steamers Boojiun and Fairy. She was taken straight up tiro tideway until opposite the end of the breastwork, where she was slewed, but by this time the tide had fallen considerably, and she took the ground with her head some distance from the brcstwork. She will, however, get alongside on the next tide and comnence to finish the discharging of her cargo of coal on Monday.
