THE WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

Auckland, Yesterday. The Wesleyan Conference received a message of fraternal greeting from the United Methodist Free Church district meeting, and a suitable reply was sent. The reports of the probationers' examinations were highly satisfactory, the average marks gained being 70 per cent. Mr Isctt is at the head of the list of fourth year men with 89 per cent., Mr Dukes first in the third year list, Mr Slade in the second, and Mr Jones in the first. Twelve probationers passed with credit. The appointment of a minister to advocate the proposed loan fund was agreed to.
