The annual meeting of householders for the purpose of electing the School Committee for the present year was held in tho school-room on Monday CA-cning. There were about scA-enty householders present, and great interest' Avas taken in the proceedings. The chairman of the outgoing Committee gaA-e a report of the work during the year, the balance-sheet showed a balance iv hand of £23 14s lOd. The report Avas adopted. The folloAving gentlemen ivere duly elected a committee for tho current year:—Messrs Moore, Lloyd, Harding, Richards, Jackson, Peebles, and Murray. At the subsequent meeting of the new Committee, Mr Thomas Moore ay.is elected, chairman, and Mr Jackson secretary.
