POLICR COURT, WAIPAWA.

At the AVaipawa Police Court this morning, before Air H. AVilding, J.P., a man named Fitzgerald was charged by the police with stealing a horse, the property of H. McGreevy, of AVaipawa. After hearing the evidence of H. McGreevy, Cornelius O'Dowd, John Bell, Henry Thomas, and Henry Mansfield, the Bench decided to commit the prisoner for trial, but remanded the case for a week at the earnest solicitation of prisoner, who said ue could bring x witnesses to prove his iiuioccnee.
