Sutton, Esq., of Invercargill— Q-| LINCOLN RAMS,,2 and 4-Tooth. t/JL These Rains are specially selected for this market, and are of "very fine quality. Mr Suttoii is well known as the largest prize-taker at till the principal Shows in the South Island. Instructed by P. C. Tiirelkeld, Esq., of Canterbury. 130 LINCOLN RAMS, "2 and 4-tooth. For quality and evenness these will be found to surpass any forwarded by Mr Threlkeld at previous Ram Fairs. They have been, as usual with this reliable breeder, most carefully selected. Instructed by Philip Doldel, Esq. 110 PURE LINCOLN RAMS, 2 and ■1-tooth, bred by Philip Dolbel, Esq., of Puketapu. These well-known and favorite sheep are bred with care from the highest class imported rams, several first prize-takers. Flockowners who have used them iv past years testify to their progeny being thoroughly good. Instructed by J. Reid, Esq., Oamaru. 12 LINCOLN STUD RAMS from ewes wliich have taken the following prizes in the South: —Ist and 2nd, Dunedin Show, 1579, as single Ewe Hoggets: Ist as pen of 5 Ewe Hoggets; Ist and 2nd, Timaru, 1880, as single Ewes with lambs at foot; Ist, Timaru, 18S0, as pair of Ewes with lambs; Ist and 2nd, Oamarn, 1880, as single Ewes with lambs; Ist, Oamaru, 1880, as pen of 3; Champion at Timaru, 1882 ; Champion at Oamaru, 1882. 11 STUD LINCOLN 2-TOOTH EWES from imported stock or their progeny. 30 LINCOLN RAMS, 2-tooth, from imported stock or their progeny. Mr Reid was present at our A. and P. Society's Show, and therefore know what class of sheep were wanted in the district, and selected the above Rams, all of them being of fine quality and from imported Rams and Ewes. Instructed by Hon. Matthew Holmes, of Oamaru — 1 STUD RAM, Ist prize, Oamaru Show. 59 LINCOLN RAMS, 2-tooth. These are a very high class lot by Champion Rams. Mr Holmes taking a, large share of honors at the various Southern Shows. Instructed by J. A. and W. M. Douglas, Waikato— 25 LINCOLN RAMS, 2-t o o th. Messrs Douglas are well known in the North, and have taken a number of prizes at the Auckland and other Shows. The wool is of the finest quality and weight, his rams clipping up to 2 lib wool each. Instructed by J. E. Goosk, Esq., Kuikora— 30 LINCOLN RAMS, 2, 1. and 6-tooth. Bredby J.Allen, Esq., ofTaicri, Otago. These sheep were selected in Otago by Mr Goose, who picked all his sheep before shearing. Instructed by Messrs Royse and Andeeson, 1 PURE LINCOLN RAM, -1 years. Bred by Messrs Urquhart, Victoria. This Ram took first prize in his class at the Melbourne Show, and second champion prize for the best Longwool Ram in the Show. Bred by T. Tanneu, Esq.— 50 FULL-MOOTHED RAMS, used in own Flock. Instructed by F. 11. DnowEii, Esq.— 20 PURE LINCOLN RAMS, 2-tooth, by '' King Billy,'' bought from Messrs lloutledge Bros., Victoria. Instructed by Mr Hastie (Stokes , Estate, Milboume)— •10 LINCOLN RAMS, 3-year-old, out of Milbournc Ewes, by one of the N.Z. and A. Land Co.'s rams. ROMNEY-MARSH RAMS. Instructed by Hon. Matthew Holmes, of 25 ROMNEY-MARSH RAMS, 2-tooth. These Rams arc really good, and the Romueys are coming into favor now, being finer than the Lincohis. PURE MERINO RAMS. Instructed by 1). Gollax, Esq.— 30 PUKE MERINO RAMS, 2-tooth. These are bred from it pure Gibson Rain, and arc very good, Mr Golliin taking champion prize at the late Show, and other first prizes. Instructed by Mr Hastie (Stokes' Estate, Milboume) — 40 PURE MERINO RAMS, 2 and 4tooth. Instructed by Messrs Royse and Andeuson, Kcrcru — Note.—The undermentioned Rams, bred by this firm will all be brought to the yards for pimtice sale. 45 MERINO RAM S, G-tooth. 60 M E R I N O RAM S, 4-tooth. 70 MERINO RAM S, 2-tooth. These are brud from pure Wyndhum Rains and Ewes, and have been carefully selected, the owners reserving none for "their own use. This breed is fast coining to the front, Messrs Royse and Anderson having taken no less than six prizes at our last Annual Show. Instructed by J. Andeuson, Sen., Moteo — 3 PURE VERMONT AMERICAN MERINO HAMS, 4-tooth. 3 PURE WYNDHAM MERINO RAMS 4-tooth. These are a very superior class of Rams, the wool being of beautiful quality and very dense, and they are grand constitution sheep. Also— 20 PURE WYNDHAM-STUD EWES, Equal to any imported. Instructed by Messrs Meinebtzhagen and Moohk. 80 TWO-TOOTH PURE MERINO RAMS. These arc by sires obtained direct from A. B. Murray, of South Australia, and sire out of pure ewes, whose dams were imported from the same breeder's flock by Mr Burnett. From 20 to 30 of these rams will bo yarded at the Fair.
