Instructed by Thomas Tax.ver, Esq., of Rivcrslea, Hawke's Bay— IOX -,•!.« and S-TOOTH PURE JLXjO LINCOLN RAMS from Mr Tanner's Stud Flock by Dudding andVesey Rams out of imported ewefi, and must be noted as the very best yot offered by this celebrated breeder, and as none of the 2-tooths have been .selected for Mr Tanner's own flock, he having sufficient older rams for his own requirements, intending purchasers may rely upon getting the most valuable selection for stud purposes. The 1, f! and S-tooth rams having been used in the Riverslea Stud Flock is a sufficient guarantee of their excellence. At the Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Show, held last October, Mr Tanner carried everything before him with his ewes, every first prize, and every second with one exception, being awarded to him, as also what is now considered the Champion Ewe Prize, namely, the cup for 20 ewe hoggets bred and owned by the exhibitor. Mr Tanner also secured the cup presented by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company for the best o long-woolled rams. For density and length of wool, grand frame and constitution these sheep are unrivalled in the colony. Instructed by Fred. '' SCOPWICK, '' son of the imported Champion Ram, " Scopwick." He has taken numerous prizes, and his ewe hoggets took first prize at Invercargill besides other prizes. At the last Annual Fair we sold a 2-tooth ram by " Scopwick " to Mr John Heslop for ">o guineas, being the highest price obtained at the sale.
