The Melbourne Manager of the National Mercantile and Agency Company of New Zealand (limited) reports of the local grain market as follows:—Wheat, per bushel, shipping, -Is 1 Od, with market much, steadier; barley, malting, is active at -Is -k\ to Is-xl: New'Zcaland oats arc steady but not in active demand at 3s Gd for feeding sorts, and 4s for milling.
