SUPREME COURT, DUNEDIN.

The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court commenced this morning. _ His Honor's charge merely referred briefly to the cases on the calendar, he remarking that none of them called for special comment. There are six cases involving charges of indecency. George Henry Hill pleaded guilty to housebreaking, "and was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Robert Galbraith, on two indictments of forgery, received a sentence of six months' incarceration.
John Yorston was convicted on a charge of attempted rape, but his sentence was deferred.
William Forshaw pleaded guilty to_ two indictments of stealing sewing machines, and liis sentence was also deferred.
