INVERCARGILL.

This day

The wool sales yesterday came to an early termination without business _ being done, owing- to the combined action of some buyers, avlio objected to the usual clause in the conditions of sale to the effect that '' tho buyer is to pay'the broker on wool oneeighth of a penny per lb for delivery, and a further charge of five shillings per bale if re-packed." No objection was taken till a lot had been knocked down to a buyer.
