AUCKLAND.
This day. The Board of Education has received a circular from the Minister of Education apropos of the allocation of the grants for school buildings and playgrounds. It states that if nothing delays raising the intended loan next month the proposed grants Avill be made, and the Auckland Board's share will be £15,490 for building and £1085 for playgrounds. Mr R. J. DeLias, the Avell-knowu theatrical speculator, is dead.
