Clause -I.—That in line •"> of Clause 1 the word "Architect" be inserted after the word "the" and before the word "Builder," and wherever the word " Builder occurs the word " Architect" bo inserted before it. Clause 7. —That the whole of Clause 7 be repealed. Clause 10.—Within No. 1 District, That this Clause bo altered so as to read as follows, viz. ;— "Within No. 1 District the whole of the external walls shall be of Iron, Brick, Stone, Concrete, or other incombustible material to be approved of by the Council, and rising not less than 30 inches above the roof, measured at right angles from the pitch of the roof, and if built of Brick, Stone, or Concrete, shall be of the thickness described in Schedule No. 2." "Dog Registration Act, 1880." riIHE attention of OWNERS of DOGS J_ is directed to Section 4of " The Dog Registration Act, 1880," which is as follows :— " Any person who shall keep any Dog Avithin the Colony of a greater age than six months, for a period of fourteen days, without causing such Dog to be Registered, and such Registration to be made again from year to year, shall be liable to a, penalty of FIVE POUNDS for every such 'Dog, over and above the amount of any fee payable in respect of the Registration of such Dog." The Registration of Dogs within the Borough of Nv.picr will commence on the Ist of January next. Registration fee : Ten shillings, payable to Scrgt. TVPOTICE is hereby given that the School J_ X District known as Meanee cum Taraclalc, the Boundaries of which were advertised in the Ilawke's Bay Herald and Daily Telegkaph of December 22nd, 1881, has been divided into two School Districts, to bo hereafter known as " The Taradale School District," and " The Mcanco School District." The Taradale (School District includes that portion of the old Meanee cum Taratlale .District which lies to the West of the Boundary line liereunder described, and the Meauec School District includes the remaining portion of the old Meanee cum laradale District. The following is the description of the Boundary Line separating the two Districts : — "Starting from the North following the Taradale River-Conservators' Boundary, \'r/,., the Purimu Creek to the Taradale-Mcanee Road, thence at right angles to that Road to the Tutaekuri River, in a straight lino to the road leading past the Little Bush in Papakura, and continuing along that line of road past Gilligan's, thence in a straight line to the Boundary of the present District. 11.
