Time, lmin -1G sees. This brought the A.R.C. Summer Meeting to a satisfactory close. Potto, the jockey, through the horse falling, whose leg -was broken in the steeplechase of New Year, was removed to the hospital, where the limb was set, and the patient is nowdoing well. Weston, the bookmaker, at once headed a subscription list on the course, and £100 was collected for the injured man. In the preliminary canter for the Consolation, Merlin knocked over a woman, whose injuries rendered it necessary to send her to the hospital.
