December 28. Ten cases, including the Papakaio murder case, are set down for trial at the ensuing criminal sessions at the Supreme Court. Heavy rain continues, and it is feared that all the New Year festivities will be stopped in consequence. The Cromwell Company has crushed 308 ounces of gold from 400 tons of stone.
