WELLINGTON.

December 23

Immediately on the arrival of the ship Lady Jocelyn from London, the police were informed that a robbery had been committed on board. It appears that, shortly after Captain Jenkins died, some person or persons entered his cabin, and carried off' about £30. There is no clue as to the perpetrators, but the police are using every endeavor to capture the thief.
