AUCKLAND.
December 1
Mr Bryce returned from Rotonia via Waikato on Wednesday. He examined the Rotorua road and railway, and was satisfied with the routes chosen. He remains in Auckland for another week, and then goes home via Tauranga and Taupo, endeavoring on the way to settle an • outstanding dispute between the natives and Messrs Studholme and Com' pany respecting the Murimotu block. The City Council, having failed in their application to the District Court Judge for an injunction to restrain the Auckland Manure and Tallow Manufacturing Company from erecting their factory near the western springe of the city water supply, intend now to move the Supreme Court in the matter.
