HAWKE'S BAY HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY THE First Show, under the auspices of the above Society, will be held in Tennyson-street, Napier, opposite the Protestant Hall, on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY, the 29th and 30th of November. A. Bcecroft, Esq., offers a prize of one guinea for the best Collection ot Vegetables. J, W. Craig, Esq., 2 vols. Darwin's Plants and Animals for the best 12 Koses in the Show. Entries will be received, either personally or by letter, up to 0 p m. on Tuesday, by the Secretary of the Show Grounds A covered low cart will be In attendance at the railway station, awaiting the arrival of each train up to 10 30 on Wednesday for tho carriage of the exhibits, freo of charge. All exhibits must be on the Show ground by 11 a.m. on Wednesday, liefreshments will be supplied by Mr E. Gillett. Tho Show will open on WEDNESDAY, from 2 p.m to 5 30, and from 7 p.m. to 10.30. On THURSDAY from 12 noon to 5.30 and from 7 p m- to 10.30 The materials of the erection and such exhibits as I are available for the purpose will bo offered Without ' Reserve after the second day's show By order of tho Committee, [ C.
