The criminal sittings of the Supreme Court were opened yesterday before Judge Gillies. There were only three cases for trial. John Danetsy, charged with stealing a silver watch from John Mulholland at Normanby, was found guilty, and sentenced to two years' bard labor; J. Hislop, alias O'Connor, convicted of forgery and uttering, _ was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment.
