Major Te Wheoro, M.H.R., thinks the difficulty of providing for the Waikatos could be met by the Government giving the tribe the remainder of the unsold land in the block promised to the Kingites by Sir Donald M'Lean, provided as much remains unsold as according to his statement he seems to believe to exist. Mr Bryce has not yet made any definite offer to provide for the Waikatos.
