PORT AHDRIRI

DEPARTURES. October. 25 —Oreti, s.s.,for Gisborne and Auckland. 26 —Endeavor, topsail schooner, for Wcl lington.

The topsail schooner Endeavor, Captain Dick, set sail for Wellington at about 9 o'clock this morning in ballast. The steamer Oreti, Captain Helandcr, took her departure for Gisborne and Auckland at 5 o'clock last night, taking a full cargo of sheep and cattle. She is telegraphed as having arrived at the former place at 6,Vclock this morning. The Union Company's s.s. Arawata leaves Auckland this afternoon, and is due here at daylight on Saturday morning, sailing again southwards at 11.30 a.m. The steamer Kiwi, Captain Campbell, did not put in an appearance tin's morning as was expected, and will probably not now arrive until to-morrow morning. Her time of departure lias been extended until 5 o'clock to-morrow night. The p.s. Manaia is still at a standstill, reports" as to the Wairoa bar being far from encouraging. The s.s. Southern Corss, Captain Bernech, is to leave Auckland to-morrow, and may be expected here on Monday next. The Union Company's s.s. Arawata is to leave Lyttclton to-day, and Wellington tomorrow, and will be due here on Saturday forenoon, sailing for Sydney via Northern ports at 4 o'clock the same day.
