The Maoris at Parihaka hrve received a message fiom Te Wbiti to the effect that the comet is going to fulfil all his prophecies abont the end of the world. The comet will decide who are good and who are bad in the world, and he advises all good people, both Maoris and pakebas, to go to Parihaka and wait for the coming end of all things. The bad people be advises to keep away from Paribaka, as they would only contaminate the good and would bring down greater vengeance on their own heads.
