October 14,

An inquest on the body of James Bowie, the boy who was killed on the railway at Gore, was held yesterday, and was adjourned for the examination of the driver and shunter of the train. The evidence co far shows that the boy was sheltering at the end of a van from a shower, when the shunter, who could see him from the points, warned the train to come back, thus knocking the boy down on the rails.
