October 12. Among the passengers by the mail steamer for San Francisco are Mr and Mrs Burdett-Howe, who intend making a tour through America and England. At a sale yesterday of the landed estate near the graving dock, Calliope Point, North Shore, everj allotment was sold, realising over £6000. There was also a Crown land sale, which realised £3318. The bidding vras brisk.
