September 30. Major Kemp has addressed the following letter to the Herald : - Friend,— At a ineetiug of the council held at Ranana on the 29th ultimo it was resolved that, should any person connected with the Muriniotu Company, whether it be their half-caste interpreters, who understand both languages, or those deceitful persons concerned in Murimotu, or the lawyers acting on behalf of the Government, or others connected therewith, persist to come within our boundaries of Wanganui and Murimotu, they will be violently turned back.
