TIMARU.

September 29. W. Leishman, who was injured at the Winchester railway station on Wednesday, is progressing favorably. His thigh was dislocated and his legs were bruised. A man, name unknown, who was lying on the railway line near Orari, was struck by the cowcatcher of the down train last evening and thrown on one side. He received concussion of the brain, besides other serious injuries.
