A concert by St. Paul's choir and leading amateurs will be given to-night in St. John's school-room. The Havelock Licensing Committee holds its quarterly meeting in the Mechanic's Institute, Havelock, to-morrow at noon. The regular monthly meeting of the Scinde Lodge of Freemasons will be held in the Masonic Hall, Tennyson-street tomorrow evening. The deed of arrangement between John Thomas Renouf and his creditors is declared to be completely executed, and in consequence his bankruptcy has been annulled. Creditors who have proved their debts can receive the cash dividend and promissory notes on application to Messrs Lee and Sheath. The partnership heretofore existing between Messrs Boyce and Fail, general coopers, West Clive, has been dissolved. The business will be carried on by Mr Fail, who will discharge all liabilities and receive all moneys clue to the late firm. Mr Lyndon will hold an auction sale of fancy goods and silver jewellery at his rooms on Friday. A first and final dividend of 5s 5d in the £1 on all proved claims in the estate of J. B. Vernon will be paid by the trustee, Mr H. Williams, on and. after this date. Messrs Monteith and Co., hold their monthly cattle sale at the Shamrock sale yards on Wednesday nest, when 60 head mixed cattle and 10 dairy cows will be put under the hammer. Mr George Scarfe is offering tho whole of his stock at cost price for cash, preparatory to removing to his new stores in Dickensstreet. Mr Cooper, architect, -invites tenders for the removal and re-erection of two buildings adjoining the Taradale Hotel. Messrs Blythe and Co., are selling the " I have no equal" corsets at reduced prices. A married couple want two furnished rooms, with use of kitchen. Messrs Blythe and Co., want a tenant for a butcher's shop to be erected at tho corner of Emerson and Dalton-streets. The Hawke's Bay County Council invites tenders for splitting 6000 slabs in the Tarnarau and Ohauko bush. All claims against the Frank Guy must be rendered in duplicate at the oilico of Mr J. H. Vautier by noon to-morrow, or they will not be recognised. The time for the steamer Kiwi's departure has been extended to 2 p.m. to-morrow. Woods' eucalyptis balsam is an efficacious remedy for coughs, colds, asthma, and bronchial affections of all kinds. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted " column.
