SYDNEY.
December 24. An extensive fire occurred to-day at Forbes in this colony. Five shops were completely destroyed, and the total damage is estimated at fully £20,000. Two persons have been severely injured by the fire.
December 2G. A fresh case of smallpox has been reported to the Health Board. The sufferer is one of the persons detained at sanatorium.
