December 16

The Returning Officer for Thomdon to-day laid an information against tbe Hon. S. J. Pharazyn for plural voting at the recent election. Informations have also been laid against two electors of South Wellington on a similar charge. Tbe cases will be heard on Thursday. A man named Smith, a laborer, of Alfredton, has been arrested at Masterton on a charge of voting twice at the Wairarapa North elections.
