December 6. Application was made to-day for a new trial in the libel case Moore (lessee of the Cloutarf pleasure grounds') v. the proprietors ef the Sydney Bulletin, in which a verdict of one farthing damages and costs was returned for the plaintiff in May last, but the application was refused. In the Legislative Assembly last night a bill was introduced by the Government for preventing the spread of emall-pox in the colony.
