(Beutee's Telegrams. J LOIS'DON. December 5. It is officially announced that the appointment of Mr W. J. Sendall has been cancelled by the Government, who thus accede to the wishes of the Natal colonists. It is further announced that, in providing for a successor to t\ir Evelyn Wood, the Government will appoint a full Governor of the colony instead of a Lieuteaant-Governor as in the pant, thus still furtber meeting the views of the colonists aa recently expressed. An official statement his been published to the effect that Sir Garnet Wolseley, at present Quartermaster-General, will in April next succeed General Sir E. H. Ellice as Adjutant-General of the forces.
