NewtoD, and D. Anderson. Taieri.-—Mr James Fuller was the only candidate nominated, and he was declared elected, Waikouaiti. —Mr James Green and A. C. Thompson. Wakatipu.—Messrs A. Fergus, A. M'Bride, and A. C. Thompson. Bruce.—Mesare W. A. Murray, J. Adam, and J. Rutherford. Akaroa. —Mr Montgomery was the only candidate nominated, and he was declared duly elected. Cheviot.—Messrs Saunders, Fendall, and M'llwraith. Te Aro.— J. H. Shaw, C. Johnston, and E. Stafford. Mr Price retired in favor of Mr Shaw, whom he proposed as the Liberal candidate. The show of hands was largely in favor of Shaw. A poll was demanded. Kumara. —Mr Edwin Blake and Richard John Seddon were nominated for the House of Representatives. The show of hands was in favor of Mr Seddon. Greymouth.—The candidates proposed were Messrs Joseph Petrie, Frank Guinness, and David Madden. The show of hands was—Petrie, 71 ; Guinness, 39 ; Madden, 28. Mr Guinness demanded a poll. Oamaru— Samuel Edward Shrimski, and James Hassell. The show of hands was in favor of Shrimski. Waitake — John Reid and Thomas Duncan. The show of hands was in favor of Eeid. Ealclutha — The nominations were Messrs Jones, William Thompson and Alfred Norton Jowett. Foxton —At the nomination to-day, Messrs Buller, France, Izard, Newman, Russell, and Wilson were proposed. The show of hands was in favor of Rusiell. Egmont.—Major Atkinson and Mr George Hutchison were proposed. The show of hands was—Atkinson, 100; Hutchinson, 20. A poll was demanded. Town of New Plymouth. — Messrs Thomas Kelly and Charles Brown were proposed. The show of hands was— Brown, 22; Kelly, 17. A poll was demanded.
